Street Development Updates for October 2023

You can now personalise automated lettings notifications, specifically relating to inspections and maintenance jobs.

Firstly, if you head to Settings (left side panel at the bottom) > Branch/ Company Settings section > Notification Preferences > Settings (top right) > you will see the option to enter a 'lettings maintenance email':

Here you can enter a specific email that you want maintenance related emails to be sent from, ie maintenance@example.com. If this is set at Company level, it will be used across all branches in a network. However if this is also set at Branch level, the email used at branch level will override the company level, allowing you to use different maintenance emails per branch.

Additionally, if you head back to the main Notification Preferences page and click Edit Notification Content (top right), and then select the Lettings tab, you will see that inspection and maintenance notifications can now be edited and customised.

Finally, on the edit content page for a specific notification click ‘general’ at the top right and you can choose where this email is sent from. If you’ve setup a ‘lettings maintenance email’ in the settings, select the ‘default maintenance email’ in this drop down which will ensure emails are sent from this email address:

You can now easily export ledgers to CSV format. This feature is especially helpful for agents dealing with rent arrears, enabling them to efficiently prepare evidentiary documents for assessing the state of accounts.

Head to the ledger page and click add > export to CSV. For more information on ledgers, see here.

Access a comprehensive view of your anti-money laundering (AML) checks – completed, in progress, and outstanding – all in one convenient location. This latest update empowers you to maintain strict compliance, ensuring you're consistently in adherence with legal requirements.

Head to Reporting (left side panel at the bottom) > AML Overview. For more information AML reporting, see here.

You can now send an email to a Vendor or Applicant as a reminder that they can download the Street App and enter their AML details for compliance checks. To do this, simply press the ‘Send reminder’ button on the compliance card. Additionally, if you have enabled it within your Branch Notification Settings, the email can be sent in your branding.

Head to a sales offer or property page and look for the AML Compliance card on the right hand side. Here you can click 'send reminder'. For more information AML reminder emails, see here.

If you’re using ValPal to capture information of potential clients that visit your website you can now integrate them into Street.co.uk. With the integration of ValPal into your account, all ValPal leads will be directly fed into Street.co.uk's Enquiry Centre, allowing you to conveniently keep track of all your leads in one place and never miss out on any opportunities again.
