Completing an Inspection
Once you have completed the inspection report step, either uploading and sending the inspection report, uploading and not sending or marking the report as not required, you can complete the inspection and set the next due date.
Head to the inspection page and you will see the 'all steps complete' banner where you can click 'complete inspection'.
Scheduling the next Inspection
Here you can either choose from the default date options or enter a date manually. If you choose to set the next inspection due date, the inspection will automatically generate on the tenancy for that date, the status will show as 'Need to Book' and you can begin the process again when that due date approaches.
If you see a banner warning you about an existing inspection scheduled for the future, you should check this scheduling another inspection, otherwise you may end up with duplicates.
Alternatively, you can click 'Don't Schedule' to skip the setting the next inspection date. However it's important to note that if you do this, the tenancy will show in the the 'tenancies missing an inspection' table, unless you mark the tenancy has not requiring an inspection.
Note - You can always come back to the tenancy at a later date and create a manual inspection if needed.
Once you have completed the 'schedule next inspection step', that inspection status will update to 'completed' and the inspection is now is finalised.
