Once you have booked a viewing appointment and confirmed it with all parties involved, it's now time to attend!
On the day of your viewing, similarly to all of your other upcoming appointments, you will see all of your appointments for today on a quick view via the Calendar icon in the top right of your screen.
During the viewing you have two options - you can use the Street Agent app to access key details about the property and leave initial viewing feedback that will send directly to the owner, or you can record the details manually in a notepad for example and then type these into Street after.
We would highly recommend making use of the Street Agent app here as it gives you access to all of the details needed, allows you to leave notes on the property and submit the viewing feedback.
Using the Street Agent app during a viewing
Logging into the agent app you will see your upcoming appointments in the 'appointments' tab where you will see the viewing appointment.
Clicking the 'start' button will begin the viewing on the app.
Appointment tab
The appointment tab of a viewing will show details of the viewing including any preview viewings for the applicant, key check out status, access details and applicant contact details.
Property tab
The property tab will show the viewing guidance, important property details such as style, tenure etc, PIQ responses from the owner (if you use the Street PIQ) and listing details.
FAQ's tab
The FAQ's tab will show any FAQ's that have been saved on the property in Street. Additionally you can add an FAQ here that will send the owner a notification asking them to answer - if the owner is available, you may even get an answer there and then on the viewing!
Notes tab
The notes tab will show any notes saved against the property or the viewing in Street. If you are looking to record notes from the viewing, you should use the 'viewing notes' section which, once saved, will immediately feed into your Street system to review post viewing.
Note - Once the viewing has started, you will have access to the 'SOS' button should you need to alert your colleagues. See our SOS feature help article for more information.
Ending the viewing
When you are finished with the viewing, clicking 'end viewing' will bring up the initial feedback panel. It's important to note that this initial feedback isn't the official feedback from the applicant that will be stored against the viewing, it is simply a way of providing instant feedback to the owner about the viewing.
You can select a rating from poor, okay, good, great and then choose to use a 'quick response' (which will load a pre-written response from Street) or write your own custom response.
β
Once submitted, this initial feedback will be sent to the owner and the next step will be to add the official feedback from the applicant.
