Carrying Out a Viewing using the Street Agent App
Once a viewing has been booked in you can use the Street Agent App to assist with the viewing
Checking out Keys
The first thing you may want to do when leaving for a viewing is to check the keys out of the office (if you have them). This can be done via Street in the Property Keys section however it can also be done directly from the agent app.
On the agent app, head to the Calendar tab and click the 'check out keys' button. From here you can choose which keys to check out, allowing you to update that you checked the keys out and leave a timestamp in the activity stream for the property on Street for historic reference.
Whether you have keys for the property or not, the next step is to go to the viewing in the app.
Viewing Details
By clicking on the viewing appointment from the Calendar page, you'll see a breakdown of further details including the owner contact information and any property notes.
The viewing can be cancelled or rearranged from here by clicking the three dots at the top right and you can click on the applicant / owner section to quickly access the contact book to see their details and call/text/email them if needed.
When ready to proceed, click the 'go to viewing' button to access the full viewing page.
Viewing Page
The viewing page is broken down into different tabs so you can quickly see the information you need for the viewing.
You can also quickly navigate to the viewing by clicking the 'navigate' button which will give you a choice of your travel apps to select from such as Google/Apple maps and Uber.
Appointment Tab
From the appointment tab of the viewing page you can see the key property details such as listing price, bedrooms and bathrooms, applicant's past viewings at the property, applicant details and property location.
Property Tab
The property tab shows any viewing guidance saved on the property, PIQ responses from the owner (if you use the Street PIQ) and listing details.
FAQ's tab
The FAQ's tab will show any FAQ's that have been saved on the property in Street. Additionally you can add an FAQ here that will send the owner a notification asking them to answer - if the owner is available, you may even get an answer there and then on the viewing!
Notes tab
The notes tab will show any notes saved against the property or the viewing in Street. If you are looking to record notes from the viewing, you should use the 'viewing notes' section which, once saved, will immediately feed into your Street system to review post viewing.
Starting the Viewing
When you're ready to, click the 'start' button to begin the viewing. Once the viewing has started you'll gain access to the SOS button which you can use should you need to alert your colleagues. See our SOS feature help article for more information.
The viewing can remain in this state until you're finished, at which point you can click 'end viewing'.
After the Viewing
Once the viewing has ended, the first step you will see is the Feedback page. Here you can give an initial response to the owner of how the viewing went.
By default, this information won't count as applicant feedback and will keep the viewing in the status of 'awaiting feedback' as it is intended as a method of sharing quick feedback with the owner.
However you have the option of marking the feedback as final if you wish, which will update the viewing status to 'feedback completed'. This option can be used if the applicant has expressed no interest and will not be pursuing, in which case you wouldn't want to email them asking for further feedback.
After submitting the initial feedback, the next step is to choose if the applicant wants to make an offer. If so, you can create an offer directly from the app. If not, the viewing is complete and you can head back to the office to track the applicant feedback (if applicable).
