Managing Your Community in Super Dash

Understanding how to manage your community as an admin

If your organization has an Unlimited subscription, you likely have a Community set up in Super Dash. Here's what it is and how to use it.

🏠 What's a Community?

A Community is a persistent group that connects your organization's members across every challenge you run — not just one at a time. When someone joins any challenge inside your Community, they're automatically added to your Community roster and stay there until they're removed.

👉 Communities are set up by the Stridekick team when your organization starts an Unlimited subscription. You can't create one yourself — but once it exists, you and your admins manage everything from Super Dash.

👥 Your Community roster

Click Communities in the Super Dash sidebar to see your full member roster — every person who's joined any challenge inside your Community, along with their join date and challenge history, all in one place.

To remove someone (for example, when an employee leaves the company), click the Remove button next to their name.

  • ⚠️ Removing a member from your Community also removes them from every challenge they're currently active in.

  • ⚠️ You are only able to remove members from your Community (not admin or owners). If you would like to remove an admin, you must first revoke their admin permission from the Admins tab. Then, you can remove them from the Community tab.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Admins

Up to 10 admins total (including the Owner) can manage a single Community, and each admin can create and run their own challenges independently. Need to add a teammate as an admin? See How to Invite an Admin to SuperDash.

⏳ What happens if my subscription lapses?

Stage

What you can do

Active

Full access — create challenges, manage members, send announcements

Grace (Days 1-45 after expiry)

Super Dash is read-only — view data and run reports, but you can't create new challenges

Expired (Days 46-90)

Admins can't log in; in-flight challenges follow standard archiving rules

Archived (90+ days)

Community is deactivated.

⚠️ If your subscription is reactivated after your Community has been archived, a new Community is created — your previous one isn't restored, and you'll need to re-invite your members.
