Objective
Select which Company Division you would like to use for a Material Order.
Background
Some companies operate multiple different company divisions. These divisions can operate in different regions, project phases, or even trades. Sometimes, divisions (or child companies associated with a parent company) actually have different names, addresses, and even logos. This feature will empower parent company customers in StructShare to select the appropriate company division associated with a specific order.
Things to Consider
Company Divisions
Need to be created by a ‘System Admin’ before you can choose within creating a Material Order.
Require Permissions
‘Submit to Suppliers’ access is required to choose a ‘Company Division’ on a specific order.
Steps:
Create a new Material Order
Select a Company Division
Create a new Material Order
Click on ‘+ Material Order’ to create a new order (this can be done from StructShare website or mobile app).
Select a Project.
Select a Supplier.
Create Your List.
Click on the Shopping Cart once you have added everything for your order.
Click ‘Continue’ at the bottom of the page.
Select a Company Division
Click within the Company Division to choose which Division you would like to use for this Material Order.
Select either Request Approval or Place Order to complete order.
