Objective
This article will explain the various Users & Permissions settings you can choose when setting up a new person in your system.
Background
There are a few roles / levels of access you might need to set for a new user in your system in StructShare. This article will give you an understanding of each option we offer and who it might be best suited for.
Things to Consider
Required Permissions:
System Admin access is required to alter other user settings.
These options live within the Users & Permissions tab within the Settings page.

User Permissions
System Permissions
Mobile Requests Only
Restrict the user from accessing the desktop view of the system. The user will be able to log in only to the mobile app and field view.
Special Roles
System Admin
Automatically added to each project and hold the permissions to access and edit company information, users, supplier and items database.
Project Admin
A user with the 'Project Admin' permission enabled has access to the project module and the ability to view PO pricing. Users can view the RFQ tab, create and send RFQs, view the supplier submitted quotes, upload a supplier quote on behalf of the supplier and select a supplier during a request. This permission does not allow the user to generate a PO from the RFQ or send a request direct to a supplier.
Invoices Admin
Hold the permission to access and edit all invoices features including uploading invoices and assigning invoices to projects and orders.
Warehouse Admin
Hold the permissions to add, edit, & delete items from the Warehouses & Item Database.
User Permissions
View & Request
User would be able to view selected projects and create Material Requests.
Can Approve Order
User will be able to approve orders / RFQ’s and send to the office to submit to Supplier.
Submit to Suppliers
User will be able to submit orders and RFQ’s to the suppliers. Not giving this permission will require approval requests to the office instead.
Notifications
Receive notifications for the project activities and chats.
Join External Chat
User will be able to see and send messages to suppliers and access quotes.
