You can configure your system to automatically apply specific adders based on the roof type selected in a proposal. This ensures that relevant costs or customizations are added consistently without manual input. Follow the steps below to link adders to roof types and streamline your proposal process.
Step 1: Go to "Manage Database" and click “Database” tab on the left-hand side.
Step 2: Click on the “Solar System” tab.
Step 3: A new option called “Roof Type” is now available under Solar System.
Step 4: Click on “Add” in the right corner.
Step 5: Add the roof name and click “Save”.
How to Auto Add adders based on Roof Type to Proposals?
Step 1: Click on the “Solar System” tab.
Step 2: Select “Adders”.
Step 3: Choose the adder you want to use to auto-add the Roof Type.
Step 4: Click on the “View Detail” button.
Step 5: Click on the “Edit” button on the right.
Step 6: Select “Auto Add”.
Step 7: Scroll down to find “Roof Type”.
Step 8: Select your “Roof Type”.
Step 9: Scroll back up and click “Update”
After enabling auto-add for roof type, create a new proposal using the design tool of your choice.
Step 10: At the bottom of your production details, you can find roof type. Click the “Edit” button next to the roof type.
Step 11: Select your “Roof Type”.
Step 12: After selecting your roof type, your adder will be auto-added to the proposal.
