Learn how to navigate and utilize the Subcontractor Hub's Consumption Profile to input and edit energy usage and utility bill information, enabling accurate estimates and tailored proposals for customers. This guide covers everything from accessing proposals to editing and saving consumption profiles.
Step 1: Click on “Proposals” within the “Actions” section of the Customers tab.
Step 2: Click “View Detail” on the proposal card.
Step 3: Select the utility from the “Utility” drop-down menu.
Step 4: Information will be added automatically, but you can edit the Estimated Rates and change the tariff if the customer is not on the specified one.
Step 5: Adjust energy usage and utility bill details on the provided graphs.
An estimate of both consumption and utility bills is provided automatically.
Input as much or as little information as you have, whether only one month’s production, annual utility bills, or annual production. The average bill should be no less than $50 to design.
Annual usage data can be entered in the “Annual (kWh)” field to the left. An estimate is provided for you.
Estimated calculations and actual data are differentiated by color in the graphs.
Note: You can also adjust the bill values in the consumption profile by editing the Estimated Rate. The formula for the Bill is Bill = kWh x Estimated Value.
Step 6: Click “Start Design” to proceed with design.
Step 7: Click on “Consumption Profile” to view consumption and utility bill graphs and make edits after the design has been run.
Step 8: If making edits, click “Save”; otherwise, click “Close” when finished viewing. When editing the consumption profile after design, the data will auto-populate on the solar details based on the new information added.
Note: When using the consumption profile, you can switch between viewing energy consumption data and electricity bill data with the kWh and Bill ($) toggles. Please note that depending on the data provider, the kWh/Bill($) toggle may not be available. If you wish to change your data provider, please contact your account manager.
Medical Exemption Checkbox
For customers located in California, the “Had medical exemption” checkbox will appear in proposals. If the checkbox is marked, the medical exemption information will be appended to the financing application when applying for GoodLeap financing.
