Converting a finalized roofing proposal into a project helps you move the job from sales to execution without starting over. Once the proposal is marked as Closed Won Document Signed, SubcontractorHub automatically creates a roofing project where you can manage job details, assign tasks, order materials, and communicate with customers and service providers.
Follow the steps below to convert a roofing proposal to a project.
Step 1: Select your customer whose proposal is ready to be converted into a project. You can use the “Roof” tab above the customer list to filter your roofing customers.
Step 2: Click the “View Details” button to view the proposal.
Step 3: Change the proposal stage of the “Finalized Proposal” to “Closed Won Document Signed”.
Step 4: Select "Yes" to change the proposal stage to Closed Won Document Signed.
Your Organization may require certain fields, attachments, or signed contracts to be completed before moving to Closed Won - Documents Signed.
Step 5: After clicking “Yes”, your proposal will automatically get converted into a project. To view this project, click the “Go To Project Detail” button on the top left.
Step 6: Now that your project is created, you can view the details of your roofing job, assign tasks, order materials, and communicate with the customer and the service providers through SubcontractorHub’s Project Management Module.
