Follow the steps below to update a stage while working on a roofing project.
Step 1: Navigate to “Manage Projects” and click on “Projects.” Then, choose the roofing project that requires a stage update.
Step 2: Choose the project stage to which you want to move your project and click on it.
Step 3: Fill in the necessary fields for the project stage.
Step 4: Select the status of the stage. You can select either "completed" or "processing" depending on the current status of the project at that stage.
Step 5: Click on the “ Update” button

Automated Stage Progression
You can also update the project stage with automated progression. Automating the stage progression ensures you don’t have to manually change or update the stage every time a list of tasks is completed. This reduces room for error and makes more time for other activities.
Once all tasks under a stage are completed, the stage automatically updates to "Completed." Automated stage progression is only available if your admin has enabled it from your organization settings.
Follow the steps below to complete a project task.
Step 1: Click on the task in the stage detail or click on the task from the task list.
Step 2: Click on the “Edit” button.
Step 3: Click on the field next to “Status.”
Step 4: Select the status of the task to update the progress of the stage.
Step 5: Click “Update.”
Step 6: As soon as all tasks listed under a stage are completed, the stage automatically updates.
