You can add notes to Project Tasks to share updates, provide instructions, or keep internal context in one place. Notes support user tagging, which helps notify the right people when action or attention is needed. Notes are available directly inside “Project Tasks” linked to active projects, allowing project teams to collaborate and stay aligned.
The steps below show how to add notes to a project task.
Step 1: From the left-side menu, click “Tasks”.
Step 2: Use the “Filter By Module” dropdown to select “Projects”, then choose a task from the list to open its detail view.
Step 3: In the Notes List area, click the "Add Note" (plus) icon.
Step 4: Type your message into the “Note” field and, if needed, type “@” followed by the user’s name to tag them and notify the correct person. Click "Save".
Note: When a user is tagged in a task note, they receive a notification by email and also see a notification in their SubcontractorHub account, which appears in the upper-right corner of their profile under “Notifications”.
