How to Enable Editing for On-Hold and Cancelled Projects

Admins can now allow users to edit project fields even when a project is marked as “On Hold” or “Cancelled.”

Previously, once a project was placed in either of these statuses, its fields could no longer be edited. Enabling these settings gives your team the flexibility to make updates, corrections, or necessary adjustments without changing the project’s status.

Follow the steps below to enable editing for On-Hold and Cancelled projects.

Step 1: Click your profile icon in the top-right corner and select “Settings.”

Step 2: From the left-side menu, click “Project Settings".

Step 3: Click the “Edit” icon to edit the settings.

Step 4: Locate “Allow editing of fields in On-Hold Projects” and toggle the setting to enable editing for projects marked as On Hold.

Step 5: Locate “Allow editing of fields in Cancelled Projects” and toggle the setting to enable editing for projects marked as Cancelled.

Step 6: Click “Update” to save changes.
