Updated over 2 weeks ago

The “Hold Project” feature lets you temporarily pause a project without losing progress. Once enabled in your project settings, you can place any project on hold with a reason, marking it clearly in the stages tab. While on hold, tasks and field updates remain editable. When ready, simply resume the project with a single click, ensuring flexibility without disrupting workflows.

Step 1: Click on the “Hi, username” option in the top right corner.

Step 2: Select “Settings”.

Step 3: Scroll down to find “Project Settings”.

Step 4: Click on the “Edit“ button in the far right corner.

Step 5: Turn on the permission for the “Show Hold Button on Project” and click “Update”.

Step 6: Return to the main menu and navigate to “Projects”. Select the project that needs to be put on hold.

Step 7: Click on “More+” in the far right corner of the project detail page.

Step 8: Click on the “Hold Project” button.

Step 9: Add the reason to hold the project and click "Yes”.

Step 10: A message at the top of your page will indicate that the project is on hold. Additionally, the "On Hold" stage will be added to the stages tabs.
