Admins can select which roles have access to the margin feature in roofing proposals. This ensures that only authorized users can manage and adjust margin settings, providing better control and security over proposal pricing.
Follow the steps below to select which users will be able to view the margin section in proposals.
Note: Admins control which users will be able to access and edit the margins in the proposal.
Step 1: Go to “Users and Roles” in the main menu.
Step 2: From the dropdown, select “User Profiles”.
Step 3: Click the “View Detail” button beside the role.
Step 4: Scroll down and select “Customers”. Locate “Add Roof Proposal Margin” and enable the permission by turning on the toggle. The margin will show up in the roofing proposal section once the setting is enabled.
Step 5: The margin will show up in the proposal under financing. Users with permission from the admin can edit the proposal margin by using the “Edit” button beside it.
