How It Works
This guide shows you how to create a triggered email flow in Yotpo that sends automatically when a customer subscribes to a product through Subscribfy.
The flow uses:
Subscribfy's custom event:
Subscribfy Email ProdSub NewsubscriptionA unique Selling Plan Group ID to identify the subscription product
Custom conditions to target specific product subscriptions
Quick Setup
Step 1: Find Your Subscription Plan
Go to Subscribfy → Subscription Plans in your Shopify admin.
Step 2: Copy the Selling Plan Group ID
Select the subscription product you want to create an email flow for.
Look for Selling Plan Group ID in the Summary panel on the right
Copy this ID (e.g., 2525748161)
You'll need this to connect the correct product in Yotpo
Step 3: Open Yotpo
In your Shopify admin, go to Apps and open Yotpo Email Marketing & SMS.
Step 4: Create a New Flow
In Yotpo:
Click Flows & Automations in the left menu
Click My Flows
Click the Create Flow button
Step 5: Select the Subscribfy Trigger
From the list of triggers:
Scroll to Custom Triggers
Select:
Subscribfy Email ProdSub Newsubscription
This event fires when someone starts a new product subscription through Subscribfy.
Step 6: Add First Condition
Now narrow down the trigger to your specific product:
Click Add Condition
Select: Custom Subscribfy Plan Group Type
Operation: is equal to
Value:
Product Subscription
Step 7: Add Second Condition
Add another condition to target the exact product:
Click +AND
Select: Custom Subscribfy Plan Gid
Operation: is equal to
Value: Paste the Selling Plan Group ID you copied in Step 2
Step 8: Create the Email
Add your email action:
Click the +Add button
Select Choose Action
Select Email Message
Design your welcome email
Click Save

Troubleshooting
Can't find the Subscribfy trigger?
Look under Custom Triggers in the trigger list. Events start with "Subscribfy".
Email not sending?
Make sure both conditions are set correctly. Double-check the Selling Plan Group ID matches exactly.
Where do I find the Selling Plan Group ID?
Go to Subscribfy → Subscription Plans → Select your product → Look in the Summary panel on the right.
Tip: For each new subscription product, repeat this process using the new Selling Plan Group ID.
