Geo Notifications

Send location-based push notifications when customers are near your store.

Go to SubscribfyWallet PassPush Notifications.

Step 1: Create Geo Notification

  1. Click + Add Location

  2. Enter your Notification message (max 180 characters)

  3. Select Pass Holders:

    • All — All customers with a Wallet Pass

    • Specific Customer — Target one customer

    • Specific Segments — Target by behavior (frequent buyers, high spenders)

    • Customer Tags — Filter by tags like VIP, Active, etc.

  4. Set Minimum Store Credits (optional) — Only send if balance meets threshold

  5. Click Save

Step 2: Add Location

  1. Click Add Location or Manage

  2. Enter the Store Name

  3. Set location using:

    • Search Location — Look up by ZIP code or address

    • Precise Location — Enter longitude and latitude manually

  4. Click Save

Tip: Geo notifications stay on screen longer when near the location and cannot be easily dismissed — more noticeable than standard push messages.


Push Campaigns

Send instant or scheduled push notifications to customers' phones and smartwatches.

Create a Campaign

  1. Click + Add Push

  2. Enter Header (max 50 characters)

  3. Enter Body (max 180 characters)

  4. Select Pass Holders (All, Specific Customer, Segments, or Tags)

  5. Choose when to send: Send immediately or Schedule for later

  6. Click Save

Use cases:

  • Announce flash sales or new arrivals

  • Reward updates and loyalty point changes

  • Membership reminders


Balance Reminders

Automatically remind customers to use their store credit or loyalty points.

Enable Balance Reminders

  1. Toggle Balance Reminders on

  2. Set Inactive days — How long to wait before sending

  3. Set Minimum balance — Only remind if balance is at least X

  4. Choose Send time (e.g., 10:00 AM shop time)

  5. Enter Header and Body text

  6. Click Save

Do I need a mobile app to send notifications?
No. Notifications are delivered through the Wallet Pass — no separate app needed.

What's the difference between Geo and Push Campaigns?
Geo notifications trigger automatically near a location and can't be dismissed. Push campaigns are sent manually or scheduled and can be dismissed by the user.

How do Balance Reminders work?
They automatically send after X days of inactivity to customers with a minimum balance, encouraging them to return and use their points.

Can I target specific customer groups?
Yes. You can send to all pass holders, specific customers, segments, or filter by customer tags.
