Quick Setup
Step 1: Create the Plan
Go to Subscribfy → Subscription Plans.
Click Create Subscription Plan
Select Regular Subscription
Step 2: Select Products
Choose which products to include and set purchase options:
One-time and Subscription - Customers choose between buying once or subscribing
Subscription Only - Product is exclusively sold as a subscription
Step 3: Set Shipping Price (Optional)
By default, recurring orders use your store's standard shipping rules. You can override this with a fixed shipping fee for all renewals.
Example: Charge $5 for every recurring delivery regardless of product size.
Step 4: Product Replacement (Optional)
Enable this to send one product on the first order and a different product on all future orders.
Example: First-time customers get a trial-size version, renewals ship the full-size product.
Step 5: Set Order Schedule
Configure delivery frequencies and discounts:
Add Frequencies - e.g., every week, every 2 weeks, monthly
Selling Plan Names - Label each option clearly (e.g., "Subscribe & Save - Monthly")
Billing & Delivery - Define how often customers are charged vs. receive products
Discounts - Apply fixed ($5 off) or percentage (10% off) discounts for subscribers
Step 6: Save
Click Save to apply your changes. Your product pages will automatically update with subscription options.
What Customers See
Product page - Subscription selector appears with frequency options
Checkout - Selected subscription frequency and any discounts shown
After purchase - Orders generate automatically according to schedule
Customer portal - Manage subscriptions (pause, skip, cancel, or swap products)

How do discounts work for subscriptions?
Add a fixed discount ($5 off) or percentage discount (10% off). Discounts apply automatically when customers select a subscription frequency.
Will recurring orders include shipping charges?
By default, subscriptions follow your store's shipping rules. You can also set a flat shipping fee for all recurring deliveries.
What happens if I enable product replacement?
The customer's first order includes the original product. All future renewals ship the replacement product you set.
Can I edit a subscription plan after launch?
Yes. Go to Subscription Plans in your dashboard to update products, schedules, pricing, or discounts anytime.
