LoyaltyLion Integration
Sync Subscribfy store credits with LoyaltyLion loyalty points. Reward members with points when they earn store credits.
What is LoyaltyLion?
LoyaltyLion is a loyalty and engagement platform that helps e-commerce brands build customer loyalty through points, rewards, and referral programs.
With this integration, Subscribfy syncs store credits with LoyaltyLion points:
When customers earn store credits, they automatically get LoyaltyLion points
Set your own exchange rate (how many points per $1)
Customize the message shown in their points history
Option to use Subscribfy's frontend or LoyaltyLion's widget
Note: You can only have one loyalty integration active at a time (LoyaltyLion, Smile.io, or Subscribfy Loyalty).
How to Set Up
Step 1: Get Your LoyaltyLion API Credentials
Log in to your LoyaltyLion account
Go to Settings β API credentials
Copy your Token and Secret
Step 2: Connect in Subscribfy
Go to Subscribfy β Integrations
Find LoyaltyLion and click the toggle to enable
Enter your LoyaltyLion Token
Enter your LoyaltyLion Secret
Configure the settings (see below)
Click Save

LoyaltyLion Token | Your API token from LoyaltyLion |
LoyaltyLion Secret | Your API secret from LoyaltyLion |
Points value | How many points equals $1 (e.g., 100 means $1 = 100 points) |
History Title | Message shown when points are added (default: "You've earned store credits for being an active member!") |
Enable Subscribfy store credits Frontend | Use Subscribfy's widget instead of LoyaltyLion's. Enable this to remove the LoyaltyLion widget. |
Restore Credits on Refunded Orders | Automatically restore spent credits when an order is refunded. Check LoyaltyLion settings to prevent duplicates. |
Test Customer Email | Enter an email to test the integration. Saves and gives that customer $1 worth of points. |
How It Works
Customer earns store credits in Subscribfy (e.g., from membership rewards)
Subscribfy converts the credit to points using your exchange rate
Points are automatically added to their LoyaltyLion account
Customer sees the points in their LoyaltyLion rewards
Example: If points value is 100 and customer earns $5 store credit, they get 500 LoyaltyLion points.
Troubleshooting
Points not appearing in LoyaltyLion?
Verify your Token and Secret are correct. Check that the customer exists in LoyaltyLion with the same email address.
"Undefined merchant" error?
The customer must exist in LoyaltyLion before points can be added. Make sure they've signed up for your loyalty program.
Can't enable integration?
You may have another loyalty integration active. Only one can be enabled at a time. Disable Smile.io or Subscribfy Loyalty first.
Duplicate points being added?
Check both Subscribfy and LoyaltyLion settings for credit restoration on refunds. Only enable in one place.
