At the end of the payment experience, a page will appear on your electronic payment terminal/handheld, as illustrated below. Depending on your dashboard configuration, your customers will be able to choose the tip amount they wish to give.
Note: Different designs for the Tip screen exist. You can decide which one you prefer, and your account manager will configure it for you.
They can:
Select a predefined tip: A fixed amount or a percentage of the total transaction, such as 5% or 10% (based on your configuration).
Round up the transaction: By rounding the transaction amount to the nearest euro.
Choose a custom tip: They can also enter a specific amount of their choice.
Opt not to leave a tip.
This system makes it easy for your customers to leave a tip, while simultaneously increasing revenue for your staff without any manual intervention on your part.
