When a guest places an order through sunday, it will appear on the sunday dashboard under the "Bills" page, with a symbol under the Payments column ($ with arrows around it). This indicates pre-authorization was captured.
If that guest walks out without paying their bill (on sunday or Toast), the bill will stay open on the POS. LEAVE THIS BILL OPEN to capture payment and follow these last 2 steps:
1. If you need to add a tip per your restaurant's policy, add auto-gratuity to the open bill on Toast. This will apply the tip to the bill and increase the bill total in sunday automatically.
2. Go to the sunday dashboard, find the open bill (on the "Bills" page), and click on the button under Payments ($ with arrows). This will reveal the popup below.
3. Click "charge and close", and this payment will be captured (assuming the guest has sufficient funds on their card).
4. You will be able to see the completed Payment under the "Payments" page (per usual), and by clicking on the symbol which is now replaced by a credit card icon, indicating a sunday payment was made.
5. The bill will close automatically on Toast per the usual process with sunday.
