In this article, we’ll walk you through the key elements of the ‘Payments’ page.

You can access this tab by clicking “Operations” in the menu on the left.

This tab shows all transactions processed with sunday for your restaurant.

  • Looking for a specific transaction? Easily filter by status, table, check number, amount, server, or card number.

  • Need to view a specific time frame? Filter by today, yesterday, or select any custom date range.

  • Want to download this data? You can export it as a .csv file.

    • To convert a .csv file to an .xlsx file, follow this [tutorial].

Downloading this data can be helpful if you notice discrepancies between the numbers recorded on your till and those on sunday.

After reviewing your sunday report, you can examine the transaction details. Start by comparing the number of sunday payments recorded on your till with the number of successful sunday payments in the downloaded data.

Discrepancies can happen for a few reasons. For example:

  • A refund processed directly on sunday may not be reflected on your POS.

  • A payment marked as completed on your POS may have actually failed.

Checking the data this way helps you quickly identify and understand any differences.

If multiple transactions appear under the same table number, it means the guests at that table chose to split the bill. Each transaction will appear as a separate line.

If a guest’s payment fails but they attempt the same payment method multiple times, an arrow will appear next to the table number. Click the arrow to view the details of their transactions, all attempts will be grouped under the most recent one.

You can also filter transactions by status, which can be especially helpful if you’re looking for refunded payments processed on Sunday. This makes it easier to update your till records if needed.

Please note that digital fees are not included in your Sunday figures, as they are paid directly by the guest and are separate from their bill.
