What’s new on the Home page
Ability to Edit overview sections for:
Patient Information
Patient Medical History
Incident Information
Do you know something critical about your plaintiff that needs to be added to their information? You can now directly add that information to the module and save, so that you can add your information while Supio is working on generating data from your documents.
If our extraction process missed something or got something wrong about the information above, you now have a recourse to be able to change that and manage it directly.
Adding Information to the Overview Page
As soon as the case is created you will be able to edit the overview information. You can start by entering the name of the plaintiff, or any other information you have readily available. In order to make edits:
Click the Edit button at the top of the section
The edit pane will slide open, and you will see available data fields. You can manually key in information to any field
If you also know the document this information is coming from, you can add that relationship by selecting the file and the page numbers on the right side of the pane.
Once this is done, you will always be able to see the referenced citation
Note that this step is completely optional, Supio will continue to extract and organize the data for you, and will let you know visually when there is new information available for you to review!
Reviewing Supio Generated Data
Whenever there is new data available in a module, you will see the Needs Review tag visible next to the edit button. This tag means that new data was extracted and can be accepted into the module.
Clicking edit will open the section panel, which will show you what the current data values are for the module, as well as any new suggestions based on Supio extraction.
Note: there are some rules in place to ensure that any data generated by you does not get overwritten. We do not want to overwrite an important piece of data, so we will always make a recommendation if the field in question had anything in it which was generated by one of your users.
Fields which were previously empty, however, will be populated as data becomes available, so that the content of your case grows without you needing to review every change which comes into the overview.
Accepting and Rejecting Values
When a certain field has possible data alternatives populated, you will see actions to accept or reject the suggestions. Doing so does the following:
Accepting: replaces the existing value in the field with the newly accepted value. This change is tracked in our backend
Rejecting: gets rid of the suggested values and communicates to our extraction team that the value is not good, it is also removed from the UI
In either scenario, the feedback allows Supio to make the extraction process better, as we are learning directly from you how to best generate and present extracted information on your cases.
