What's New
We've introduced Response Builder, a new tool in the Drafting Suite that lets you upload a set of questions from opposing counsel, such as standard interrogatories, and have Supio automatically extract the questions, generate answers using your case documents, and produce a formatted response document ready for review.
The Problem it Solves
Previously, responding to interrogatories and discovery requests required manually reading through each question, searching case files for the relevant information, and drafting individual responses by hand. This made it difficult to efficiently handle large sets of questions, often resulting in hours of tedious research, the risk of overlooking relevant case details, and inconsistent response quality across questions.
How to Get Started
To start using Response Builder:
Go to the Drafting Suite and select Build Responses
Upload the file containing the questions you need to answer (e.g., interrogatories from opposing counsel)
Click Extract to have the system automatically identify and extract all questions from the document
How it Works
Response Builder works by:
Automatic question extraction — Upload a document with questions (such as standard interrogatories), and the system reads, analyzes, and extracts all individual questions. In the demo, roughly 20 questions about parties, case details, and basic information were extracted automatically.
Review and edit questions — Before generating responses, you can confirm, edit, or remove any extracted questions. You can also add additional questions you'd like to preemptively address.
AI-generated responses with sources — With the push of a button, the system generates responses for each question using all the case context and documents available in Supio. Every answer includes source citations so you can see exactly where the information came from.
Formatted preview and publishing — Once you've reviewed the generated answers, preview them as a cleanly formatted document. Publish it to the Drafting Suite, where it becomes a standard Supio document — available for chat, prompt library usage, and future reference.

Notes: Response builder does not pick up your style of formatting for answers, but you can use the redraft feature for polishing the output.
