Prompted to upgrade? Here are the reasons why

Wondering Why You’re Being Prompted to Upgrade?

If you're seeing a prompt to upgrade your Surfe account, it usually means you've reached the limit of features included in your current plan or that you have not assigned your paid seat(s) yet. Here are a few common reasons: Additionally, issues may arise if you have multiple Surfe accounts or if your subscription is linked to a different account than the one you are actively using.

You may need to upgrade if:

  • You have not assigned your paid seat(s)

  • You've hit your monthly email/phone enrichment quota

  • You’ve hit your Search quota

  • You're trying to access a Pro feature (e.g. Advanced Analytics)

  • You have multiple Surfe accounts, which may cause confusion or prevent access to paid features

  • Your subscription is linked to a different account than the one you are actively using, leading to unavailable paid features

  1. What to do:

  • If you just purchased your licence(s): to get the benefits of the licence(s) that you purchased, you need to go to your Surfe Dashboard Team section, and assign the paid seat(s) to those who will be using the premium features.

  • If you have multiple accounts, consider consolidating them or requesting the removal of unused accounts to avoid confusion.

  • If your subscription is linked to the wrong account, transfer it to the account you are actively using to ensure access to paid features.

  • To identify the active account, verify which Surfe account you are currently using and check its associated integrations.

  • Review your subscription details by logging into your Surfe account to ensure they match the account you are actively using.

  • If you've hit your monthly email/phone enrichment quota, you can buy more credits for the whole account (not individual users) by clicking on this link ⬅️

Oh, and this purchase is a one-time thing, not recurring. So, if you need more credits down the road, just go through the purchase process again—it’s that simple!

Integration-Specific Considerations

  • HubSpot Integration: Ensure that the subscription is associated with the Surfe account connected to your HubSpot CRM. If the subscription is linked to another account, move it to the HubSpot-connected account to unlock paid features.

  • Other Integrations: Similar steps apply to other integrations like Google Sheets or Pipedrive. Verify that the subscription aligns with the account linked to the integration you are using.
