Surfe Search Side Panel: how to use it

The new Side Panel in the Surfe App lets you preview and manage your CRM data — for both People and Companies — directly from your Surfe search results.

No need to open your CRM: you can now view and update key information right where you’re already working.

All users with a connected CRM can use it : HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, or Copper users.



How to Access and Use the Side Panel

  1. Open the Surfe App and go to your People or Company search results after running a search.

  2. Click on a record in your list — the Side Panel will open on the right:

  3. You’ll see key CRM information such as Owner, Company, Stage, and more (depending on your CRM mapping).

  4. From the Side Panel, you can:

    • Instantly see whether a contact or company already exists in your CRM.

    • View, sync people, enrich data and manage CRM fields directly from the Surfe App.


Tip: If you only see the “Owner” field for now, don’t worry — more editable CRM fields will soon be available, just like in the Surfe Chrome extension.


FAQs

Can’t I already see CRM data in the Surfe Chrome extension?

→ Yes! The Side Panel simply brings that same functionality into the Surfe App, so you can manage CRM data while searching or browsing lists.

Does it support all CRMs?

→ Yes — HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, and Copper are supported from launch.

What happens if a record isn’t found in my CRM?

→ The Side Panel will show that it’s not yet in your CRM and let you add it immediately. (A linking option for existing records is coming soon.)
