Connecting Pipedrive

By connecting Pipedrive to Surfe, you will be able to manage the data and content that is in your CRM directly from LinkedIn.

  1. Download the Surfe Chrome extension.

  2. Surfe will automatically open LinkedIn for you. When the welcome message appears, click ‘Get started!’

  3. Surfe will ask you which CRM you want to set up. Select the Pipedrive logo.

  4. If you’re the first person on your team to connect to Surfe, you’ll need to have admin rights. If you’re not an admin, you can ask an admin to quickly connect to Surfe first so that it will work for you. Alternatively, ask the admin of your CRM to temporarily grant you admin access. This will allow you to connect and you can revert back to your usual access after.

  5. Once you have followed the onboarding prompts, you’re all set!


    IMPORTANT NOTE FOR PIPEDRIVE USERS

    What should I do if Surfe asks the admin to connect first?

    For all Pipedrive users, we need the CRM admin to be the first to connect to Surfe and sync the very first message.

    If your CRM admin cannot connect with Surfe and sync this first message, please ask them to grant you (or another team member) temporary admin/super admin status in your CRM profile. Once your admin status is set up (you will need it for a maximum of 5 minutes) please open any message and hit the sync button to save a message in your CRM.

    Once done, you can ask your CRM admin to bring back your regular CRM profile settings.
