Introduction

Once you’ve created your first sales funnel, the next step is to configure payments, shipping, taxes, and discounts. These settings ensure your checkout is fully functional, legally compliant, and optimized for smooth customer purchases.

This guide walks you through setting up store rules, connecting payment processors, and customizing checkout options inside your sales funnels.

Store Settings Overview

Access these options from your Store Settings:

  • Products – create and manage physical, digital, service, or membership products.

  • Orders – view details, update statuses, and track purchases.

  • Discounts – create promo codes for campaigns.

  • Settings – manage shipping, tax, and payment rules.

Shipping Rules

  • Go to Store → Settings → Shipping.

  • Add a new shipping rule:

    • By price range (e.g., orders under $50 = $10 shipping).

    • By weight range (e.g., 0–5kg = $15 shipping).

    • Flat-rate shipping (e.g., $10 worldwide).

  • You can create multiple rules for different regions or price tiers.

Taxes

  • Go to Store → Settings → Taxes.

  • Create tax rules for specific countries or regions.

  • Add a tax name (e.g., VAT, Sales Tax) and set the percentage.

  • Taxes will automatically apply during checkout based on the customer’s location.

Payment Processors

  • By default, Cash on Delivery (COD) is available as an offline option.

  • To accept online payments:

    • Go to Store → Settings → Payments.

    • Select a processor (e.g., Stripe).

    • Enter the publishable key and secret key from your payment provider.

    • Save changes - your checkout will now display the new payment option.

  • You can connect multiple processors, giving customers more flexibility.

Discounts

  • Go to Store → Discounts to create promo codes.

  • Define:

    • Discount type (percentage or fixed amount).

    • Applicable products or entire orders.

    • Expiration date (optional).

  • Customers enter the discount code at checkout for automatic savings.

Checkout Behavior

  • Once rules are set, checkout will automatically:

    • Display shipping options.

    • Apply tax rules.

    • Show available payment methods.

    • Accept discount codes if enabled.

  • Works seamlessly with 1-step or 2-step checkouts inside sales funnels.

Best Practices

  • Always test your checkout flow after adding new rules.

  • Keep shipping rules simple - flat rates work best for conversions.

  • Ensure taxes match legal requirements in your selling region.

  • Connect at least one online processor (like Stripe) for instant payments.

  • Use discount codes sparingly to avoid devaluing your products and save them for campaigns.

  • Track performance in your funnel’s Analytics to measure conversion rates and top-selling products.

Quick Workflow Recap

  • Create products in Store → Products

  • Add Shipping Rules (by price, weight, or flat rate)

  • Add Tax Rules (country/region-specific)

  • Connect Payment Processors (Stripe, etc.)

  • Create Discount Codes if needed

  • Test checkout to confirm everything works smoothly
