Welcome to your new home! Whether it’s a late-night splurge or a care package from home, getting your deliveries at The Switch is designed to be seamless. Here is everything you need to know about managing your mail like a pro.
📦 Before You Arrive: Timing & Addressing
We know you’re excited to deck out your new space, but timing and accuracy are crucial.
The Golden Rule: Please ensure your items are scheduled to arrive after your official move-in date. Due to limited storage and security protocols, we cannot accept items for residents who haven't checked in yet; early arrivals may be returned to the sender.
Format Your Address: To ensure your parcel actually makes it to your locker, your delivery address must be specific. Always include:
Your Full Name
The Property Address
Your Specific Room Number (e.g., Room 402B)
Note: Parcels missing a room number often result in delays or "delivery failed" notices as our system cannot automatically match the item to your account.
📥 Collecting Your Mail: Step-by-Step
The Switch uses a smart parcel locker system to keep your items secure until you’re ready for them.
The Notification: Once a courier drops off your package, you will receive an automated notification containing a unique collection code or QR code.
The Hub: Head to the parcel locker bank located in the communal mail area.
The Pickup: * Enter your code or scan the QR code at the touchscreen terminal.
A specific locker door will pop open automatically.
Grab your goods and ensure the door is firmly closed behind you.
The Deadline: Space is shared! Please collect your parcels within 48 hours to make room for your neighbors.
🛑 Moving Out: Don't Ghost Your Mail
When the time comes to move on to your next adventure, your "Switch life" ends, but the mail keeps coming—unless you take action.
Update Your Address: At least two weeks before vacating, update your address with your bank, employer, and favorite shopping sites.
No Post-Stay Storage: Once you have officially checked out, we can no longer hold or redirect mail for you. Any items sent to The Switch after you've vacated will be returned to the sender.
Pro Tip: Set up a mail redirection service through the local postal authority to catch any stray letters you might have missed.
