When you sign your lease agreement with The Switch you are required to pay a deposit equivalent to two weeks' rental amount, and this is allocated towards your first 2 weeks of rent.
If you have set up direct debit for your initial deposit and bond payment, you will have full visibility on your rent charging via The Switch mobile app.
Paying your rent Fortnightly
Your next rent payment is due 2 weeks after your move in date and fortnightly (every 2 weeks) after that.
If the last weeks of your contract is not a full fortnight, you will pay a pro rata amount (one off amount), which is calculated from your nightly rate (weekly rate divided by 7)
Paying your rent Monthly
Your next rent payment is due 2 weeks after your move in date. You will pay a pro rata amount (one off amount), which is calculated from your Monthly rent (Listed on your contract) minus your 2 weeks' deposit.
Your standard monthly rent is then due every month after that on the date you moved in (For example, if you moved in on the 12th, your rent is due on the 12th of each month).
If the last month of your contract is not a full month, you will pay a pro rata amount (one off amount), which is calculated from your nightly rate (weekly rate divided by 7).
