Prerequisites
Before getting started, make sure that:
You have Admin permissions on TAC: app.touchandcontact.com
You have Admin access to Microsoft Dynamics 365
Your Microsoft 365 account is active
The user has permission to access contacts in Microsoft Dataverse
Step 1 β Log in to TAC
Step 2 β Log in to Microsoft
Click Connect Microsoft Dynamics.
The Microsoft authentication screen will open.
Sign in with your corporate Microsoft 365 account
Confirm the requested permissions
β No API keys, tokens, or manual configurations are required.
Step 3 β Connection Completed
After logging in:
TAC will be connected to Microsoft Dynamics 365
Synchronization will start automatically
No additional IT intervention is required
Important Notes
The integration uses Microsoft Entra ID with OAuth 2.0 authentication
TAC does not store Microsoft credentials
Access can be revoked at any time from the Microsoft admin panel
Quick Troubleshooting
I canβt connect to Dynamics
Verify that the user has permissions for Microsoft Dataverse
Check for any security policies or Conditional Access rules
Contacts are not synchronizing
Wait a few minutes after the initial connection
Verify that standard contact fields are not disabled
