Edit a Custom Role

How to edit a custom role with custom permissions to suit a district's needs.

Follow the steps below to edit a custom role:

Step 1: Click on Staff & Roles

Step 2: Select 'Roles'

Step 3: Click on the three-dot menu next to a custom role and select 'Edit role'

Step 4: Edit the name and description and click 'Next'

Step 5: Edit the permissions and click 'Save'


If you would like to copy an existing role and then make edits, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Click on Staff & Roles

Step 2: Select 'Roles'

Step 3: Click on the three-dot menu next to any role and select 'Copy Role'

Step 4: Edit the name and description and click 'Next'

Step 5: Edit the permissions and click 'Save'
