While the TalkingPoints for Families App is completely free and provides some extra benefits for families, if families would like to stop using the app and receive SMS texts instead, read below.
It is not currently possible to receive messages through both the family app and SMS texts.
To switch to SMS text, log out of the TalkingPoints for Families app.
Step 1: Tap 'Settings'
Step 2: Scroll down, and select 'Log out/Switch to text messaging'
Step 3: Tap 'Log Out'
They must log out first! If they delete the app before signing out, the system will not switch them back to text notifications.
