📝 Please note: Custom grade-level mapping is a district-level ability. For partners with school-level partnerships, this ability is not currently available.
How can grade-level classes be mapped? 🗺️
Grade values from a school's SIS can be mapped to TalkingPoints grade-level classes by following these steps:
Navigate to Settings.
Select Students.
Select Grade level mapping.
Select the grade level to create a custom mapping for.
Select Add.
Input the value exactly as it's written in your SIS. For example, "99" is different from "ninety-nine."
What should be kept in mind when mapping grades? 📌
❗ Any custom-mapped grade levels will apply to all schools in a district partnership.
This ability is only available to District Admins. School-level partnerships do not currently have access to custom grade-level mapping.
Each value can only be mapped to one grade-level at a time.
Multiple values can be mapped to a single grade-level.
TalkingPoints uses a standard list of grade-levels. Any value that isn't mapped, and falls outside the standard list, is automatically mapped to the grade-level "Other." Learn more here.
Custom mapping is not available for the grade-level "Other."
