Why can't I add students/classes?

Learn about how class information is imported to TalkingPoints for Schools and Districts.

Schools and districts that partner with TalkingPoints send class data via Clever, ClassLink, or .csv file, which provides a fast way to upload students without the hassle of adding them individually!

Because this is information is imported directly from the school, any class additions or changes must also be completed directly in the school's information system (SIS). TalkingPoints cannot edit the school's information system, which is why the option to edit class or student data does not appear in most cases.

If you are missing a class or student, contact your tech department, school secretary, or admin team to make the change within the SIS.
