What Are Packages?

Packages in TalleFlow are pre-defined sets of services or products that you offer to clients. Think of them as your personal menu or “SKU list” — you set them up once and then quickly insert them into any invoice or proposal.

Using packages saves time, keeps pricing consistent, and ensures that your documents are always accurate.

Creating a Package

  1. Go to Documents in the main navigation.

  2. Click Create Document.

  3. Select Package as your document type.

  4. Fill in your package details:

    • Package Name – A clear title for your service or product.

    • Package Description – A detailed explanation of what’s included.

    • Package Image – (Optional) Click the image placeholder to upload an image that represents the package.

    • Price – The total cost of the package (optional — see pricing rules below).

  5. Add your Service Items:

    • Service Name – The name of the specific service or product.

    • Description – Details about what’s included.

    • Quantity, Unit, and Price – Set the quantity, measurement unit, and cost (if not using a package price).

    • Service Item Image – (Optional) Add an image for each service item.

  6. Click Add New Item to add more services to your package.

  7. When done, click Save Package.

Package Pricing Rules

  • If you set a Package Price, you cannot set individual prices for the service items inside it.

  • If you do not set a Package Price, you can set prices on individual service items — the total of all service item prices will automatically become the package total.

Using Packages in Invoices & Proposals

In Invoices

  1. Open your invoice in the document editor.

  2. Click on the Invoice tool on the canvas to open the Properties Panel.

  3. Search for your package name in the Packages section.

  4. Click to add it — the package details will populate into the invoice automatically.

💡 Tip: You can import multiple packages into the same invoice.

In Proposals

When you create a proposal, it will already have an Invoice page included by default. You can import packages into this invoice the same way as in a standalone invoice:

  1. Click on the invoice inside your proposal.

  2. Search for and select the package(s) you want to include.

Best Practices for Packages

  • Keep package names clear and easy to identify.

  • Use package images for a more professional and visual presentation.

  • Update packages when your pricing or services change.

  • Group related services together for easier selection during invoice creation.

  • Use descriptions to clearly explain the value to clients.
