TalleFlow and optionally share those designs with clients through the Client Portal. This keeps creative assets organized, accessible, and tied to the work they belong to.

Once connected, Canva designs become part of your project workflow instead of living in separate tools or email threads.

What the Canva Integration Does

When Canva is connected to your business:

  • You can link Canva designs directly to projects

  • Designs can be managed from within TalleFlow

  • You can choose which designs are visible to clients

  • Clients can view shared designs in the Client Portal under the Designs tab

This is especially useful for creative teams, event professionals, and anyone sharing visual assets with clients.

Connecting Canva to Your Business

The Canva integration is business-specific, meaning it must be set up in Business Settings.

To connect Canva:

  1. Open the Business Switcher (top-left of the app)

  2. Hover over your business name

  3. Click the gear icon to open Business Settings

  4. Go to Integrations

  5. Click Connect next to Canva

  6. Authenticate your Canva account

Once connected, Canva is available across all projects for that business.

Linking Canva Designs to a Project

After Canva is connected, you can link designs directly inside a project.

From a project:

  1. Open the project you want to work in

  2. Navigate to the Designs tab

  3. Choose to link a Canva design

  4. Select the design from your connected Canva account

The design is now attached to the project and managed from within TalleFlow.

Sharing Designs With Clients

When linking a design, you can choose whether or not to make it visible to the client.

If a design is shared:

  • It appears in the Client Portal

  • The client can view it under the Designs tab inside the project

  • No separate email or external link is required

If a design is not shared:

  • It remains internal to your team

  • Clients will not see it in the portal

This gives you full control over what’s client-facing and when.

How Clients See Canva Designs

From the client’s perspective:

  1. They sign in at portal.talleflow.com

  2. Select your business

  3. Open the relevant project

  4. Click the Designs tab

Any Canva designs you’ve chosen to share will appear there for viewing.

Clients cannot edit designs unless you explicitly grant access through Canva itself. TalleFlow is used for viewing and organizing shared designs, not editing them.

Why Use Canva Designs in TalleFlow

  • Keep designs tied to projects, not inboxes

  • Reduce back-and-forth links and file confusion

  • Give clients a clean, professional place to view creative work

  • Maintain control over what’s shared and when

Notes & Best Practices

  • Canva must be connected before designs can be linked

  • Designs are managed per project, not globally

  • Visibility in the Client Portal is optional and controlled by you

  • This integration works best when paired with project-based workflows
