How to Make & Share Picks on Tallysight

This tutorial will guide you through the complete process of making picks on Tallysight and sharing them with your community

Part 1: Making Picks

Step 1: Navigate to Games

  1. Open Tallysight and click on the Odds tab in the main navigation

  2. Browse through the available games organized by date (Thursday, Friday, Sunday, etc.) and league

  3. You'll see games with teams, odds, and betting options displayed. To find available props select Show More Bets on the game tiles.

Step 2: Adding Picks to Your Betslip

  1. Click on any betting option you want to add to your picks

    • Examples: Moneyline, Spread, Total (Over/Under), Props

  2. Your selection will automatically be added to "Your Bets" panel on the right side

  3. Each pick will show:

    • Team/Selection name

    • Bet type (Moneyline, Spread, etc.)

    • Odds (e.g., +265, -120)

    • Potential payout

Step 3: Managing Your Betslip

Once picks are added to "Your Bets," you have several options:

Mark as Best Bet

  • Click the lock icon or "Mark as Best Bet" option next to any selection

  • This highlights your most confident pick for followers

Remove Selections

  • Click the "X" or remove button next to any pick to delete it from your betslip

  • You can modify your selections before saving

Step 4: Save Your Picks

  1. Review all your selections in the "Your Bets" panel

  2. Click the "Save Picks" button at the bottom of the panel

  3. A sharing module will automatically pop up

Part 2: Sharing Your Picks

After saving your picks, you'll see the sharing options module with several ways to distribute your betslip.

Sharing Options Available

1. Direct Link Sharing

  • Copy the direct link provided in the URL field

  • Share this link on any platform or send directly to followers

  • Example format: https://tally.site/username/betslips/[unique-id]

2. Social Media Sharing

Click any of these buttons for instant sharing:

  • Tweet - Share directly to Twitter/X

  • Download - Save an image of your picks

  • Share - Access additional social sharing options

3. Embed Options (Recommended for Websites)

The embed feature offers three different formats:

  1. Web Component (Recommended)

    • Best performance option

    • Responsive design

    • Lightweight loading

  2. WordPress

    • Optimized for WordPress sites

    • Easy integration

  3. iFrame

    • Universal compatibility

    • Works on any website platform

Step 5: Embedding Your Picks

For Web Component Embedding:

  1. Select "Web Component" tab in the embed options

  2. Toggle ON "Include script tag" if this is your first time embedding or if the script isn't already installed on your CMS

  3. Copy the provided code:

  • First-time users: Always include the script tag

  • Returning users: If you've already installed the Tallysight script on your site, you may not need to include it again

  • Performance: Web Component offers the best loading speed and responsiveness

  • Picks not saving: Ensure you've clicked "Save Picks" after making selections and that the pick is still available. Once a game begins most markets are not Bettable
