Send Text Action
With text messaging enabled on your account, you'll now see the option for Send Text in your automation actions! π
When building your text message, you have 3 fields to fill in:
From - This will use your brand default automatically, unless you would like this particular text to be sent from a different number integrated on your Workspace account.
To - Here you'll choose the job role, group of recipients, or manually enter the specific phone number you wish to be the recipient of the message going out.
Text Message - This is where you build out the content for your automated text message, using a combination of plain text and tokens.
Note: If you are using our Quo integration, when sending out an automated text to a group of multiple recipients (i.e. all job clients on a wedding job), they will each get their own separate text message.
Tokens
In the Insert Token into text section, you can search for tokens on your account to add to the contents of your text message.
Once a token value is selected from the search, it will place the token at the end of Text Message string, so you can cut and paste it into the appropriate place in the message you're building.
Tip: You can also reference links like contracts, questionnaires and quotes in automated texts using item tokens.
