Why isn't my Pro responding?

Pros aren't always glued to their computers.... we can get in trouble if we tried

Taxfyle advises that tax professionals respond quickly and address any messages you send within 2 business days (often times Pros respond much quicker). However, there might be instances where the response time is delayed due to various reasons. It's important to understand that tax professionals may not always be immediately available in front of their computers, but they will make a concerted effort to respond to you as soon as they're available.

If you are experiencing difficulties with communication, such as prolonged delays or challenges in reaching your assigned tax professional, Taxfyle provides a Help Chat option. You can reach out through the Help Chat on the bottom right corner of the page, and a member of the Success team will assist you in resolving the matter and ensuring effective communication. In the event that your Pro has been inactive for an extended period, the Success team can work to get your job transferred to another Pro to take over.

Once an engagement has been marked complete, you will be disconnected from your Pro, and communication channels will cease. Pros will only mark an engagement complete after your return has been e-filed, the filing acceptance form has been received and provided to you, or if they provide mailing instructions for you to mail in your return.
