The Shuttle service option lets you charge per passenger instead of a single fare per booking. This is ideal for shuttles, shared rides, or per-seat transfers where the total price should scale with the number of passengers.

What shuttle pricing does
By default, prices are calculated from distance and/or duration and do not change when adding more passengers (unless other base-rate conditions apply). For example, a one-way airport trip may be €12.51 for 1 or 2 passengers.
When you enable Shuttle service / Per passenger pricing, the system multiplies the calculated trip price by the number of passengers in the booking. This means that if the base fare is €12.51, two passengers will pay €25.02.
How to enable shuttle service
To enable shuttle service on a pricing rule:
Go to Settings → Prices.
Open the Pricing rule you want to edit.
Make sure your base rate (for example, €1 per km) is configured under the rule’s pricing section.
Scroll to the Shuttle service / Per passenger pricing option.
Tick the checkbox to activate per-passenger pricing.
(Optional) Configure the additional passenger percentage if you want a different rate for passengers 2, 3, etc. (for example, 80% of the first passenger’s price as a discount).
Click Save to apply the changes.
How the price is calculated
With shuttle service enabled:
The system first calculates the base fare using your pricing rule (e.g. €1 per km, based on Google Maps distance and duration).
That base fare is then applied per passenger, multiplying by the number of passengers in the booking.
Example:
Base rule: €1 per km, calculated trip price = €12.51 (for the route).
Shuttle service: On, additional passengers at 100%.
1 passenger → total fare: €12.51
2 passengers → total fare: €25.02
If you set additional passengers to less than 100%, each extra passenger is charged at that percentage of the base fare, which lets you offer per-seat discounts for groups.
When to use shuttle service
Use Shuttle Service when:
You sell seats on a shuttle or shared transfer, not the whole vehicle.
You want the fare to increase with each passenger rather than be a flat rate per booking.
You want to offer group discounts while still charging per passenger using the additional passenger percentage option.
