Special Rates are pricing adjustments (discounts or surcharges) that modify your standard pricing rules. Use them for high-availability discounts, peak time surcharges, or holiday pricing adjustments.

Creating Special Rates
Navigate to the Special Rates tab in the Pricing menu
Click the blue '+' button in the lower right corner
Configuration Settings
Name - Assign a descriptive identifier
Priority - Define precedence over other special rate rules
Type - Choose between Fixed (absolute amount) or Percentage adjustments
Amount - Enter the fixed amount or percentage value
Calculation - Select whether to apply a price discount or price increase
Timing Configuration
Start Date/Time - Set when the special rate becomes active
End Date/Time - Set when the special rate expires
Specific Weekdays - Restrict the rule to certain days and times
Geographic Application
Configure where the special rate applies using the same options as Dynamic rules:
Everywhere to everywhere (default)
Specific location/area to specific location/area
Specific location/area to everywhere
Everywhere to specific location/area
Common Use Cases
High Availability Discount - Apply 10% discount between 13:00-16:00 when driver availability is high
Peak Time Surcharge - Add 10% increase between 13:00-16:00 when availability is limited
Night Rate Addition - Apply extra charges for Location to Location trips during nighttime hours
Saving Your Configuration
Click 'Save' to apply your special rate. Special rates automatically modify applicable pricing rules when their conditions are met during booking.
