Troubleshooting Pricing Issues in Your Web Booker

support link for troubleshooting pricing issues

Updated this week

If the prices displayed in your web booker aren't what you expected, TaxiWebBooker has a built-in Support Link feature that helps you — and our support team — investigate exactly how prices are being calculated for any given journey. Follow the steps below to diagnose the issue and, if needed, share the details with us.

Step 1: Open the Support Link

  1. In your dashboard, navigate to Web Bookers in the main menu by click the Home button .

  2. Select the specific web booker that is displaying unexpected prices.

  3. Click the dot (⋮) icon at the top of the web booker.

  4. Choose Support Link from the dropdown menu.

Your web booker will open in a new view with an additional support frame visible in the top-left corner. This frame is what allows you to see the pricing breakdown in detail.

Step 2: Simulate a Journey

With the support frame active, simulate the booking that is showing incorrect prices:

  1. Enter a pickup address — use the address where you're seeing the unexpected pricing.

  2. Select a destination.

  3. Choose the date and time for the journey.

  4. Click Next to proceed.

The system will display prices exactly as a customer would see them, based on your web booker's current configuration — for both one-way and round trips.

Step 3: Review the Pricing Breakdown

Once results are shown, the support frame will provide detailed insight into how the price was calculated. This includes the underlying logic and configuration factors driving the fare shown. You can use this information to:

  • Identify whether a pricing rule or zone is configured incorrectly.

  • Pinpoint which setting may need to be adjusted.

  • Gather evidence to share with our support team for further investigation.

Step 4: Send the Report to Support

If you're unable to resolve the issue yourself, you can easily share the full pricing report with us:

  1. Click Send Report within the support frame.

  2. Scroll down and click Copy to copy the report content to your clipboard.

  3. Paste and share the copied content with a TaxiWebBooker support representative via live chat or email.

Our team will review the data and help you identify and fix the root cause of the pricing discrepancy.
