Sometimes, users may forget or lose their portal passwords and need help regaining access.

In Teach ’n Go, there are two ways to reset a password:

  • Admins and teachers/staff (with the relevant permissions) can reset passwords for teachers, students, or parents.

  • Users can reset their own passwords from the login page. Please check this article.

Admin/staff/teacher-initiated password reset

If a teacher, student, or parent forgets their password, an admin, teacher or staff can reset it on their behalf.

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to the user’s profile page

From your Teach ’n Go dashboard, navigate to the profile page of the teacher, student, or parent who needs a password reset.

  2. Find the “change password” option

Scroll to the bottom of the user’s profile page. You’ll see a button labelled change password.

  3. Enter a new password

A pop-up window will appear. Enter the new password for the user, then click Save.

That’s it — the user’s password is now updated, and they can log in immediately using their new credentials.

By following these simple steps, administrators can efficiently help school members regain access to the platform — ensuring uninterrupted learning and communication.
