In Teach 'n Go, you have the flexibility to establish a weighted grading system for your classes, accommodating varied assessments and their respective weights. Follow these steps to configure weighted grades:

1. Navigate to Class Details: Visit the Class Details page for the relevant class and access the 'Gradebook' tab.

2. Enter Grades: If there's a single grade for the class, you can input it for each student under the 'Grades' column.

3. Add Weighted Grades:

  • Click on the 'Add Weighted Grade' button located at the top right of the Gradebook tab.

  • A pop-up box will appear, prompting you to input the unit's description and its percentage weight. For instance, you might set a 30% weight for an assignment.

  • If there are additional assessments, repeat the process for each, specifying their weights (e.g., 70% for an exam).

4. Fill in Grades: Enter the grades for each student corresponding to each weighted grade.

5. Calculate Overall Grade: After entering grades, click on the 'Calculate' option. This action will compute the overall class grade for each student, considering the weighted percentages.

By utilising the weighted grading feature, you can precisely evaluate and analyze students' performance across various units and assessments in your Teach 'n Go classes.
