How do I send messages to multiple parents at once using Instant-Messaging/Chat
You can send a message to multiple parents at the same time in two ways:
Send to individuals – write your message once and send it to multiple parents at the same time. Each parent receives the message individually in a separate chat and cannot see the other recipients. This is useful when you need to send the same message to several parents, while keeping each conversation private.
Create a group – create a group chat with multiple parents. Everyone in the group can see the messages and replies within the group conversation. This can be useful for many reasons, such as when creating a group chat with a child's parents/guardians.
How to send a message to multiple parents
Select the bubble icon to open the Chat section of the TeachKloud: Childcare App (see image below).
Select the + button in the top-right corner of the Chat section (see image below).
Enter your message and upload any relevant photos, videos or other media.
To save your message as a draft, select the pencil icon in the top-right corner.
If you are ready to continue, proceed to the next step.
Select Next.
Find the relevant room and select all of the parents/recipients you would like to message.
When you select more than one recipient, TeachKloud will ask you how you would like to send the message. Choose:
Send to individuals to send the same message separately and privately to each selected recipient; or
Create group to start one group conversation where all selected recipients can see the messages and replies.
Select Send in the top-right corner.
