Add Skills
Open the Skills & Interests section and click "Add Skills" to add skills to your Resume Builder.
You can add skills by either typing them in individually:
Or entering them all at once, separated by commas:
Organize Skills Into Categories
To further organize your Skills section, you can create custom categories to place your skills into. Click the "+" button, then "Add Category" to create a new category.
Then, drag and drop the relevant skills into that category.
You can also add a new skill to a category directly by clicking the "+" icon located next to the category name.
Edit & Delete Categories
Select the pencil icon to edit the category title.
If you'd like to delete a category, click on the three dots button, then "Delete Category." Deleting categories will apply to all resumes, and you will be prompted to confirm the deletion before it takes place.
Any skills within the deleted category will be moved to the default, uncategorized skills list.
Delete Skills
You can delete skills individually or bulk-delete all inactive skills from your Resume Builder.
Delete Individual Skills
Hover over the skill you'd like to delete, then click the trash icon. Similar to categories, deleting skills will apply to all resumes, and you will need to confirm the deletion before it can take place.
Delete Inactive Skills
If you've deactivated skills you no longer want to use in your resume, you can bulk-delete them from your Resume Builder entirely.
Click on the three dots, then "Delete Inactive Skills." Confirming the deletion will remove the inactive skills from all of your resumes.
NOTE: The checkboxes associated with your skills/interests will determine if they're shown on the resume or not β simply uncheck any skill you don't wish you appear on the resume.
Generally, we recommend leveraging the checkboxes versus deleting the skill entirely!
Additional Section Actions & Settings
You can quickly access previously mentioned actions and additional settings for the Skills & Interests section by clicking the three dots button at the top of the section.
Need to deactivate all the skills in a category at once? Click the "Deactivate All" option! This action will become "Activate All" when viewed in a category that has at least one deactivated skill.
Section Settings
Under "Section Settings," you can customize how you'd like certain section components to be displayed on your resume.
Sort By
By default, your skills will be sorted by date and displayed in alphabetical order. If you would like to manually rearrange your skills, select the "Manual" setting.
Layout
Present your skills in comma-separated lists or bulleted columns.
Additional Design Settings
