On select occasions, our team needs to perform maintenance on the platform. At these times, access to Surfboard may be limited.
To ensure teams are able to follow the schedule during the window of downtime, we suggest implementing the following tools:
Add Surfboard to external calendars
For Google users: If surfers connect to Google Calendar, they’ll be able to continue to view their activities and shifts in their calendars.
Managers can check who’s connected using the Google Calendar icon next to a surfer's name from the ‘Surfers’ tab.
For other calendar clients (e.g. Outlook): They can also use the ‘Copy Calendar link’ button to add the schedule to their calendar of choice.
Share a screenshot
Take a screenshot of the team's schedule and share it with the team, or ask surfers to screenshot their own schedule and follow that during this time.
