Using Simple mode

The quickest way to fill in your scorecard

Simple mode asks you for the essentials, hole by hole. You choose it on your round setup page.

Entering a hole

The entry sheet shows the hole number, its par and its stroke index (SI) at the top. Then fill in:

  1. Your score on the hole.

  2. Your number of putts.

  3. Your tee shot: left, center or right of the fairway (on par 4s and par 5s). Nothing is selected in advance: tap your choice again to clear it.

  4. Green in regulation: whether you hit the green in the expected number of strokes.

Tap Next hole. A chip sums up the hole you just entered; tap the pencil to edit it.

With partners

If you play with partners, their scores appear below yours in the entry sheet: each counter starts at par, adjust it with − and +. The result (Par, Bogey
) is shown above it. You can correct a score later from your scorecard, Partners tab.

Distances

Even in Simple mode, the hole map shows you distances. When you're on the hole, they're measured from your position; move the target to get the distance to any point.

Finishing the round

Tap Finish the round: your scorecard appears. Check it, then tap Sign my scorecard to save it and see your round recap.

On Apple Watch

In Simple mode, enter your total in “Strokes”, then check “Putts” before tapping “Next hole”. You can go down to one stroke with no penalties: putts decrease automatically when needed. With penalties, the minimum is one stroke plus your penalties. Putts do not increase automatically if you then raise the total.
