Playing with a Garmin watch? Teech can add your Garmin Golf rounds to your history, as if you had played them with the app. New rounds then come in on their own.
Before you start
Finished 9- or 18-hole Garmin Golf rounds.
Teech Premium: Garmin import is part of the subscription.
An internet connection.
Start the import
Go to Profile, Game section, then tap Garmin import.
Follow the steps on screen.
Import your past rounds
Teech then tells you how many rounds it found:
Import all X: add everything. Teech recognizes the courses on its own when it can; the others wait for you in Rounds to complete.
Choose: you tick the rounds to add. The 20 most recent are preselected, and the ones already imported are marked Already in Teech.
Later: nothing is imported. You can come back to it with Import past rounds on the Garmin import page.
Check the courses
On the Check the courses screen, each Garmin course has its own card: Teech matches it with a course from its database, then checks the tee and the pars of each round.
Verified: nothing to do.
To choose: tap Choose course. The search is already filled in with the Garmin name; if no course has exactly that name, Suggestions of nearby courses appear. Your choice applies to every round played on that course.
Wrong course? Tap Change. To change the tee, tap the tee shown on the round's line.
Holes renumbered since your round (nines swapped, shifted start): Teech detects it and puts the holes back in order.
To fix: the course pars don't match the Garmin holes. Choose another course, or tap Import anyway: the round keeps the Garmin pars of the time, without the GPS shots.
Tap Continue. If your rounds have GPS shots, the Your Garmin clubs screen asks which club in your Teech bag matches each Garmin club: choose it, tap Add to bag if it isn't there, or Ignore this club. Finish with Import X rounds.
Rounds not imported
At the end, Teech lists the rounds left out with the reason, for example Course not chosen or Pars differ from the Garmin holes. Tap Resume these X rounds to go back to the courses and fix them. Rounds in progress, abandoned, or that are neither 9 nor 18 holes aren't offered.
What gets imported
For each hole: strokes, putts, penalties and drive direction. The round counts in your stats like a round played with Teech.
Without GPS shots, the round is saved in Simple mode.
If your watch recorded your shots, the round is saved in At my ball mode: each shot is placed on the map with its club, for your distances and dispersion per club. If shots are missing, Teech fills them in from your scorecard; if they can't be used, the round is imported without the shots.
Your Garmin handicap and averages aren't copied: Teech recalculates your stats from your rounds.
A Garmin badge marks these rounds in your history. You can delete one like any other round.
Your new rounds, automatically
After the first import, Automatic import is on: every time you open Teech, if you don't have a round in progress, your new Garmin rounds are added to your history. A banner lets you know in the Clubhouse; tap View to open the round.
To check right away: Check now on the Garmin import page, or pull down on your round history.
If Teech doesn't recognize the course or a club, the round waits for you: a Garmin banner shows up in the Clubhouse (for example âOne round needs its courseâ) and the Rounds to complete line on the Garmin import page. Choose the course or your clubs and it's saved; Skip sets it aside.
You can turn off Automatic import at any time.
Pause or stop the import
If a red dot appears on Garmin import, automatic import is paused: open the page and follow the prompts to resume it.
To stop importing, use the button at the bottom of the Garmin import page. Rounds already imported stay in your history.
